|Ingredients for four people:
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 red onion finely chopped
200 gr. "Carbonara Smoked Bacon Cubes" by Bechèr
400 gr. "Classic Pippi" by Bechèr ("Pippi"
are bite-size salami bits)
100 gr. "Cooked Ham Cubes" by Bechèr
750 ml. meat broth
· salt and pepper
For the polenta
250 ml. water
yellow polenta cornmeal
1 bouillon cube
salt and pepper
Fry the chopped onion in the olive oil, add the bacon, the "Pippi",
the cooked ham and cook for 10 minutes. Pour in a little broth at
a time and continue cooking for an hour until you reach a sauce-like
consistency. Put the mixture in the fridge and let it cool down.
After removing the top layer of fat from the sauce, heat and serve
over a bed of polenta prepared in the traditional way.
