Ingredients for four people:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 200 gr. "Carbonara Smoked Bacon Cubes" by Bechèr
  • 400 gr. "Classic Pippi" by Bechèr ("Pippi" are bite-size salami bits)
  • 100 gr. "Cooked Ham Cubes" by Bechèr
  • 750 ml. meat broth
  • · salt and pepper

  • For the polenta
  • 250 ml. water
  • yellow polenta cornmeal
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • salt and pepper
  • Preparation:
    Fry the chopped onion in the olive oil, add the bacon, the "Pippi", the cooked ham and cook for 10 minutes. Pour in a little broth at a time and continue cooking for an hour until you reach a sauce-like consistency. Put the mixture in the fridge and let it cool down.
    After removing the top layer of fat from the sauce, heat and serve over a bed of polenta prepared in the traditional way.
