Ingredients for four people:
  • 1.5 kg. leaks, washed and cut in thin disks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250 gr. "Bauern Tyrol Smoked Ham" by Bechèr
  • ½ kg. potatoes, pealed and cut into cubes
  • salt and black pepper
  • Preparation:
    In the oil lightly brown the smoked ham cut into thin strips. Add the leaks, the potatoes and cook until the leaks become tender.
    Add 2 litres of water, salt and cook for 45 minutes.
    Let the soup rest for an hour, then heat and serve sprinkled with black pepper.
